General Calendar information
  • Open Gyms and Pre-Season Activities

    • Optional open gym sessions are typically offered one day per week during the late spring/early summer months

    • These sessions provide opportunities for skill development, team bonding, and informal play.

    • Information meetings for families and players are often held during this period to cover program details, expectations, and Q&A.

    • Registration, uniform orders, and optional merchandise must be completed by the end of the pre-season period (usually late June).

  • Practice:

    • Official practices are mandatory for all team members and generally begin shortly after the 4th of July holiday.

    • Absences are governed by the program's attendance policy - refer to the club handbook or board for details.

    • Practices are typically scheduled in the evenings (e.g., 7:00 PM-9:00PM) on select weekdays.

      • Older/junior high and high school level teams often practice multiple days per week.

      • Younger/elementary level teams usually practice fewer days per week.

    • The program's primary facility serves as the home gym for most practices.

  • Games and Tournaments:

    • Attendance at all scheduled games and tournaments is mandatory.

    • Any known exceptions or conflicts should be communicated during registration and will be reviewed by the board or program leadership.

    • The competitive season typically runs from mid-August through early October, with a mix of league matches and tournaments.

    • Teams participate in both home and away matches, including occasional weekend tournaments (single-day or multi-day events).

  • Scheduling Notes

    • No practices, games, or program events are typically scheduled on certain weekdays or weekends to allow for rest, family time, or commitments (specific days vary by program - check the current calendar.

  • Season Conclusion

    • The season concludes with a year-end celebration or banquet, usually held shortly after the final competitive events (often a weekend evening in early fall).

Registration & Club Costs

Code of Conduct Commitments

  • All players are required to review and agree to the program's Play Code of Conduct

  • Parents/Guardians are required to review and agree to the Parent Code of Conduct, and commit to supporting the program through volunteering opportunities

Registration

  • Registration typically opens in the spring.

  • Registration fees, uniform orders, and optional merchandise payments can be completed during designated open gym sessions or specified

    • Late registrations are not accepted after the posted deadline.

  • Payment for Uniform and Merchandise will be required upon receipt of items.

Uniforms

  • Uniform (including personalized name) are purchased for a set fee (e.g., around $40). Players keep their uniforms and may reuse it in the future seasons.

  • The uniform style remains consistent from year to year, though changes may occur if a particular style is discontinued by the supplier.

  • Players are responsible for providing navy Shorts, knee pads and appropriate athletic shoes.

Team Merchandise is offered for purchase but is optional

Other costs

  • Fundraising activities help offset costs for uniforms, merchandise, and other program expenses.

  • Travel is generally kept within a reasonable driving distance (approximately 1 hour or less from the program area), with limited exceptions.

  • Tournaments may be single-day (typically Saturdays) or two-day events (often Friday and Saturday), held in nearby cities or regions.

Fundraising is a means to offset merchandise and uniform costs

  • Fundraising activities help offset costs for uniforms, merchandise, and other program expenses.

  • Each player is encouraged to participate by selling a minimum of items (such as discount cards), with proceeds earning reward credits that can be applied toward uniform or merchandise costs.

Volunteering

Volunteers. We rely on parent volunteers to run home games and tournaments require parent support.

Volunteer expectations will depend on how many families sign up.

  • For Practices a family should volunteer for 1 practice per season

  • For home games it is likely that at least one member of a family will need to volunteer for at least one role for all home games. Possibly 2 roles

  • For away games a role for at least 1-2 away games

  • For Tournaments. A family should sign up for 1-2 roles

Roles:

  • Gate Admission

  • Set up arrive early

  • Tear down

  • Line Judge

  • Score Book

  • Concession

  • Siblings aged 15 years or older may fill concession roles or line judge roles for elementary
